Black Bullet
Synopsis: In the year 2021, a parasitic virus known as "gastre" infects humans and turns them into monsters. What remains of humanity now lives within the monolith walls, walls made of Varranium, the only material that can harm Gastre.
To combat the threat that the gastre pose, "cursed children" - female children whose bodies contain vestigial amounts of the viruses that give them -human skills - officially called initiators for tendon civil security, receive partners called prosecutors, people who work to guide and protect young initiators. These two teams are sent in missions to combat the monsters created by the Gastrea virus and keep them away.
Black Bullet revolves around the Enjara Aihara team, an initiator, and Satomi Rentoaro, a prosecutor, while they undergo missions to combat Gastrea's growing threat in their hometown, Tokyo.
