Synopsis: In a future devastated by the infection of a parasitic virus called Gastrea, humanity takes refuge in cities protected by huge walls of Varanium. To combat the grotesque creatures that arise from this threat, the authorities create teams made up of Promoters and the so-called Cursed Children, girls who carry traces of the virus and possess superhuman abilities. The plot of *Black Bullet* follows Satomi Rentaro, a determined Prosecutor, and Enju Aihara, his partner and innocent Initiator, as they confront not only the monsters threatening their city, but also the moral and social complexities of a world on the brink of collapse.
