Gun x Sword
Synopsis: Van, a thin and apathetic swordsman, is on a journey to kill his fiancé's killer. The only feature he has to pass is that the killer has a claw to an arm, hence the killer being referred to as the man of the claw. During his trips, Van passes through the city of Evergreen, who is defending himself from bandits who want to steal the city of his treasure. It is in this city that Van meets Wendy Garret, a shy young woman who is looking for her kidnapped brother. When the city begs Van's assistance to defend it, he refuses, claiming that he has nothing to do with him and thus leaves the city alone to deal with danger. Soon after, Van comes across the invasion bandits and they are marked to the swordsman in a degree, where he acts against them for his own personal revenge. Surprisingly, Van discovers that the bad guys had ties with the man of the claw and, when kidnapped Wendy's brother for a reason they did not reveal. After the bad guys are treated easily, van and, to their disgust, Wendy continues the journey in search of the man of the claw. As soon as they know, however, that the claw man is involved with something more atrocious than anyone could understand.
