Synopsis: Hole - a dark, decrepit and disorderly district, where the strong prey of the weak and death is a common occurrence - is almost adequate to the name given to it. A separate domain of law and ethics is a test field for magical users who dominate it. As a race occupying the highest steps in their society, magic users think of the inhabitants of the hole as no more than insects. Murdered, mutilated, and experimented without a second thought, powerless residents of holes hit Hole Hospital corridors daily.
Having free access to and for Cesspool and with little challenge to its authority, magic users seem indomitable to most - coming to some. Kaiman, more reptile than man, is one of those individuals. He hunts them in a search without attention for answers with only one pair of reliable bayonets and their immunity to magic. Cursed by their appearance and tormented by nightmares, magic users are their only track to restore their lives to normal. With his biggest obstacle being his stomach, his companion Nikaidou, who directs the hungry restaurant, is his greatest ally.
Situated in a brave world of infernal design, Dorohedoro manages a healthy mix of comedy and lightness with death and carnage. Taking many twists while following the lives of Hole residents, he wears a unique world of supernatural origin and dark appearance, not for the agitated or easily disturbed.
