Sinopsis: The world, as we know, is actually only half of the story, as Takeshi Nanase abruptly discovers a summer morning. On the way to Kendo, Takeshi finds an unconscious girl from a uniform she doesn't recognize. Takeshi does the decent thing and saves her, and in return the girl wakes up and accidentally turns him into a magical user.

As Takeshi discovers, there is the world in which he lives and the world of magic users. Most magic users just want to coexist peacefully with non-magic, but there are some with larger ambitions. Much Aiba is a magician enrolled in Subaru Magic Academy, where magic users can learn to control and channel their powers and how to live in peace with ordinary humans. After his fateful encounter with Mui, Takeshi and his newly -newly Kurumi Isihima and Kazumi Friends Ida decide to enroll in the magic academy as well.

All three friends have different reasons to fight, are struggling to escape the past or reach the future. They exert different types of powers, which must learn to enjoy the ghost trailers, a group of magicians who are willing to use violence to affirm their superiority about humans.

Persecuted by the ghost trailers, Takeshi and his friends must train to become stronger, face the trailer leader and prevent the beginning of the Great Magic War.
