Sinopsis: The Mizuhanome system is a highly advanced development that allows people to enter one of the most intriguing places existing - the human mind. Through the use of the so -called "cognition particles" left behind in a crime scene by the aggressor, the detectives of the Specialized Police Squad Kura can manifest the unconscious mind of a criminal as a bizarre flow of thoughts in a virtual world. Its task is to explore this psychological plane, called "ID well," to reveal the identity of the culprit.
Not only can anyone enter ID Wells; The prerequisite is that you must have killed someone alone. This is the case of the former -Detective Akihito Narihisago, known as "Sakaido" within ID Wells. Once a respected police member, the tragedy hit, and he soon found himself across the law.
However, Narihisago continues to help Kura confine her. While his prodigious detective skills are still useful for investigations, Narihisago discovers that not everything is as it seems, as behind the seemingly independent series of murder cases, hides a much more sinister truth.
