On January 12th we had the official presentation of the Nintendo Switch in Tokyo, we even wrote an article talking some information about him. The big problem is that this presentation disappointed many people, haters are having a party and many are complaining about things like lack of games, weak hardware and even internal storage. In this article, I want to analyze these criticisms and points so that we can arrive at a reasoning and logical conclusion of the subject.
People think that the Switch even before its launch will have the same fate as the Wii U, they believe that Nintendo is making the same shit as before and that third-party companies will not support the console, all this due to these factors and the presentation. Do you really think that Nintendo with a team of marketing and SEO strategists, and with all the problems of the Wii U, will make the same mistake? Only if they are really stupid... Presentation in Tokyo
The presentation was poor and disappointed many people, the hype of most people was to see many third party games, and some expected a cheaper value for the console. Nintendo really charged a little high price and no game, but it is worth remembering that its hardware is unknown. The ads that came out after the presentation were even more disappointing, the high price of the accessories, the storage and no pronouncements from third-party companies that people want to see.
I want to highlight that the presentation of the Nintendo Switch in Tokyo was to present the Console and not the games of the console. In my opinion, if Nintendo focuses only on the games it is hiding, people would take the focus away from the console's focus on portability, motion sensors and various ways of playing. Another point that left this presentation weak is that it was made by Japanese people who have different tastes than Westerners, for them RPGs and laptops are the best thing you have, and they don't care about those thirds games that people want as much as GTA , BF1, COD, etc.
People forgot that even the PS4 and ONE had few games at launch, most of them being remasters. I believe that most of the WII U games and previous Nintendo consoles will be placed on the E-Shop to fill the gap. Now it is waiting for new announcements of the other 80 games being developed for the console.
Thirds hardware and support
Many believe that the fact that the Switch is a portable, it will not have enough hardware to receive thirds party games like the PS4 and XONE. So far the switch's GPU and CPU specifications have not been revealed, but Nvidia said the console is equipped with the latest hardware and compared it to current video cards. We do not know if it is still pascal or Maxwell, if it is pascal the $ 300 charged only for the console is more than justified, and if it is Maxwell the console still has enough power to run any game of any generation.
Now what will make third-party companies support the console and release their games is the sales number. There's no talk about the Switch being weak and not being able, the Nvidia Shield itself running Android showed great performance in some games that everyone wanted to see on Nintendo consoles. Now remember that the Nintendo console doesn't run Android. Another factor that will greatly help the console have third-party games is its ease of programming. Unlike the WII U, Nintendo's new console has support for various engines and different APIs.
I don't think the console for 300 $ is expensive just because it has a lower GPU than the competition. Nintendo's console has a touch screen and haptic technology that allows you to feel surfaces on the screen. 2 motion controls with very compact technology and even a mini Kinect. The price is justifiable, we will know when to reveal the hardware. In my opinion, Nintendo's only mistake was not to sacrifice a game as a gift for those who buy the console, but we don't know if the new E-shop will provide some free games.
Small internal storage
One of the biggest complaints is the console's small 32GB storage. People forgot that the switch is a laptop and are constantly comparing it to the PS4 and XONE storage. Keep in mind that the consoles from Sony and Microsoft are not at all compact and use the standard hard drive which is very cheap. A normal HD of 1TB is usually less than 40 USD. Now try to buy a 500GB SD on the internet and scare with the price above 200 USD.
Storage is more than enough for the system and applications, the games can very well be updated and have their DLCs installed inside the cartridge itself or the micro SD of up to 2TB that the console supports. Another example is the phones, compare the price of a 32gb phone and the same 128gb model, the same Iphone is usually up to 100 $ more expensive.

Nintendo is doing like Microsoft and Sony, charging to play online and offering discounts and free games. The only hesitation is that she wants to make games accessible temporarily.
