- Chicken Katsu Curry - Curry sauce: - 4-5 cubes of Japanese curry - 1 large onion - 1 large potato - 1 carrot - 800 ml of water - Chicken Katsu: - 4 chicken breasts - 80g of panko - 4 tablespoons of wheat flour - 1 boiled egg - Vegetable oil for fried - Serving: - 400g of cooked Japanese rice - Tonkatsu sauce - Fukujinzuke (canned cane) - Cooked eggs - Conserved ginger (optional)

Instructions:

Cut the vegetables into small pieces, including 1 large onion, 1 potato and 1 carrots, and add them to a pot with boiling water.

Cook the rice separately in boiling water for about 20 minutes.

Add 4-5 blocks of Roux curry to the pot with the vegetables and let it boil for 10 minutes until the sauce gets thick and smooth.

In the meantime, temper the chicken breast pieces with salt and pepper, cover them with flour, egg and panko bread crumbs.

Heat the oil in a separate pot at 180 °C and fry the chicken until it gets golden.

Cut the chicken in strips and serve on a rice bed, covered with curry sauce.

Decorate with canned rabbit, tonkatsu sauce and half-cooked egg before serving.
