The dark side of Japan! Not everything is flowers

Everyone thinks Japan is a safe, wonderful place. It may even be true compared to some places. But in this article I will talk on the dark side of Japan and about many horrible things that happen, things ignored by people. We just talked about the bright side of Japan, a friend made me see that it’s important to write on the dark side, the hidden one that is not shown by the media.

The following article was not fully written by the Site Suki Desu, was based on a response from the Japan page to think before imagining, from the article I wrote Lies that talk about Japan. If you find the text exaggerated, it was much worse than its original version, the person who wrote doesn’t seem to like Japan very much… Let’s get started!

As much as Japan is better than many countries, it also has its problems. Problems caused by your superiority, so we will talk about some of the negative points there and some of the positives, not to make you sad about this country that impresses us so much.

Remembering, this article is a response to the article “Lies that talk about Japan” be aware that I am not criticizing Japan, I can generalize a little in the text, but I personally prefer Japan a thousand times than Brazil.

A country for foreigners (Not so much so)

We know that Japanese are educated, that Japan is a great place to join money and to live. However, there are yes the wicked Japanese, as in Brazil there are the bad ones. However, Japanese, they act to the extreme, all they do is usually “in HARD mode”, difficult to keep up with or understand.

That is, if you think you go to Japan and will not suffer prejudice and humiliation, you may even be lucky, many have never seen it, but others have suffered a lot, went into depression and etc. Therefore, it is recommended that you know the Japanese language, so that you can interact more with people and make them know you for real.

So if you prepare psychologically, because it may happen that you find a bad fruit, which will not be as civilized with you as Japanese society tends to be. Or maybe you’re lucky to find good friends, just like a good relationship.

There’s no way we should say that the Japanese are racist. It is no different from other countries, there is rather racism and prejudice, but Japanese are more extreme. So it’s no joke, if you come across a racist, seek distance right away, because the level of xenophobia is strong, especially in colleges where even the Japanese suffer from the ijime (Bullying) it’s still one of the biggest reasons there are so many suicides in Japan.

It is a fact that even some Japanese have prejudice with the people themselves there, who are usually people who do not fit the standards that society requires, so be prepared, social pressure is very great, but it is the same pressure we suffer when we are tempted to do something that we consider wrong and that, finally, we end up being humiliated by it.

Work in Japan is something taken very sériously and especially foreigners should do overtime… so if you want to go to Japan to work and relax, you’re wasting your time. Study, learn the language, do an exchange, college, get married, then yes you can find a lighter job to relax, or not xD.

Government, Public Agencies in Japan

Japanese hospitals, the way taxes are charged, the speed in fixing things are practically perfect. But also, they have their negative side, a lot of bureaucracy, especially if you’re a foreigner, getting interprets and documents can be quite tiring. Just as in Brazil, there may be errors in the document, then stress begins.

Not to mention taxes and fines that are quite expensive, but fortunately, this is more beneficial than in Brazil. However, remember, do not trust the Japanese government, there are many problems that they can not solve, every human government is flawed, if you are thinking of leaving Brazil because of the government, can even compensate a little, however, be prepared for the worst.

Food and Money

Many products are cheaper in Japan and others are expensive, but adapt to japanese salary, and there you will find various types of food. However, there is the great danger called “China”, many products are imported, and you may have heard of the MC Donald’s scandal and China.

The fact is that most Japanese feed on industrialized products, or obento and even tho[marmita]ugh Japan is a clean, hygienic country, you’ll know what happened to these obento, won’t they? Especially with imported products, there are reports of having already found pieces of insects and etc. Unfortunately greed harms Japan as well, so leave a little aside the issue ‘health’ if you don’t have much time to prepare your own lunch.

Food and money

Although Japan’s salary is enough to feed, it can be said that it is the same thing as Brazil, the 200,000 Yen is almost the same 1,000 Reais of us Brazilians if we take into account the price of things, despite many cheap things, others that are important n Day-to-day they are expensive and take their money away.

It is worth remembering that, as much as some earn high salaries, in some regions, as well as in Brazil, people earn little, and do not exceed 150,000 Yen, one of the reasons the Japanese people do overtime.

Security and Crime

Although it is one of the safest countries in the world, crimes happen frequently as well and, when they happen, are bizarre. Even living in one of the safest countries in the world, even if earthquakes and tsunamis are rare; that cause mass deaths, no one knows tomorrow. Especially in a country with volcanoes, radiation, earthquakes, typhoons and tsunami always lurking.

 Perfection and Suicide

Most suicides in Japan are related to stress, loss of service, financial difficulties. In Japan, to err once, is to have your life doomed forever, at least that’s what happens mostly. Car accidents, involvement in fights, drunk driving and problems with justice.

Even if committed by children or spouses directly affect the person, because companies do not want people who are not 100% shaped within the perfect Japanese society in their workforce. It may be one of the main reasons some Brazilians do not get along with Japanese.

As much as houses can be small or made of wood, it [no interior do país]bothers some, and some even like it. But the worst part is that if you’re a foreigner, get ready to pay rent your whole life, land in Japan are absurdly expensive, and you should get used to living in apartments.

There’s a big reason japanese people are called perverts. Japan is one of the countries that consumes porn the most, even child pornography is, in a way, allowed in manga, we clearly see the exposure of breasts and panties in children’s anime (not unlike brazilian novels).

Not to mention people who are arrested for collecting saliva, machines selling used panties, bars to talk about masturbation, tentacles and other scruffy forms about sexual relations. The upside is that there you will not listen to immoral songs in cars nor people speaking words of sexual connotation in conversations, exposure to immorality there is of your choice, remembering that you should be careful with stalker’s, lolicons and other perverts that exist. ( い° いい°)

I didn’t say much, there’s a lot to say about Japan. It’s not a country, a thousand wonders, but it’s not a bad country, it’s just not perfect, but everyone makes a point of pointing out out there.

I tried to summarize important points for you to keep in mind and if you intend to live in Japan; o Know; sightseeing, I guarantee it will be the best choice, a rich country with lots of culture and different things for you to know, it’s very worth it! But anyone who thinks moving to Japan will solve their problems can even solve, however, will depend on you and your luck.

Comment points I forgot to quote, it’s a lot and some I didn’t even want to put. Stay free to make your Comments.
